[fade]Senik (Pavan Vasdev) and myself, (BEL, a spin on my initials BWL) recently teamed up to create a collaborative audio-visual art project. Tandem to the music production, I acted as the project's art director and worked with Senik to cultivate our brand identity and online presence. This included the website, single cover art, and an EP cover.

To launch the work, I built the website to be something of a window of sensory. We wanted the music and visual elements to feel immersive and interwoven, so striking a balance that was rich in stimulus without being overwhelming or abrasive was a leading challenge. I used hypnotic patterning and abstract animation on the landing page to create an immediate allure towards viewing our work. The energetic aesthetic built hype for the collaboration as well, which is essential of course to musicians and artists making their first waves.
